<p>The propulsion device is mounted as an extension to the rudder. The flexible blade (8) is pinned through the rudder blade (12) by means of a horizontal pin (16). The rudder blade is connected to a vertical hinged stock port (13) which carries the filler (14). The flexible fin operates in the same way as a fish tail or the action of sculling over the stern by moving the filler in even strokes to the left and right, thus causing the craft to move forward.</p> |
