<p>In a car sleeper, having a pair of shells hinged along one side and pivotable to an open sleeping position, and a curtain with a door and window closing off the unhinged sides, the curtain is attached to the lips off the shells by channel shaped plastics extrusions which fit over the rims and which are provided with curtain engaging means. The extrusion covering the lip of the upper shell is provided with a seal bead which cooperates with the extrusion of the other shell when the sleeper is in the closed position and the shells locked together. Preferred extrusions are of PVC, and carry spline grooves in which the edges of the curtain are retained by retainer strips. A good seal is obtd. in both open and closed positions.</p> |
