<p>A machine for the continuous weighing out of materials is esp. for the addition of gravel type materials to binumenous materials for road surfaces. A hopper for the gravel type material is supported over a conveyor belt in contact with the lower part of the hopper through which a lateral opening feeds a constant flow of material to the belt at a rate controlled by varying the aperture. A frame is supported on pivots behind the hopper to support the guide rollers of that end of the belt. If the weight deposited on the best baries, e.g. by varying density of the hopper material, the different loading of the best is detected, and the pivoted roller supports deflected to correct the drive of the belt to make a correction.</p> |
