Connections are made to tape cables 10, located on a base 11 by pegs 13, by bolting to the base an insulating trough 15 which houses contacts 16 whose projecting lower ends (16a, Fig. 2, not shown) are thus clamped against exposed ends of cable conductors and whose channelshaped upper ends 16b co-operate with resilient contact blades 19 of a mating connector 17. The blades 19 are retained in channels 18 in the connector body 17 by upwardly bent ends which engage shoulders in the body. Engaging hooks and slots on bodies 17, 15 secure the connectors together. |
