The rear wall of the heat storage unit has two vertical brackets at a certain horizontal distance. The brackets have a U-section with the two legs of the U-shape angled outwards, so that they fit flat against the inner surface of the rear wall and the rest of the U-shape projects beyond the rear wall resulting in a gap for air circulation when the casing is fitted to the building wall. The web of the U-shape is provided with fixing slots and the bracket itself is rigidly fixed to one of the two horizontal bearers which support the core. The other horizontal bearer is at a distance near the front wall of the casing and the two bearers are rigidly connected by two lateral cantilevered brackets with their base part resting on the bottom of the casing.
