<p>The feed mechanism is used for feeding small contact rivets into holes in contact springs. The feed mechanism consists of a vibrating rivet guide rail and an inclined guide rail. A slider, moving at right angles to the guide rail, is used to select individual rivets and it holds each rivet in a trap while it conveys it to the required hole in the spring. At least the base (6) of the vibrating guide rail (4) forms part of the guide rail (20) of the selecting slider (10) in such a way that the transition between base and guide rail is without a gap.</p> |
