<p>The chassis is used for the transport of goods of considerable length, esp. on conveyor wagons. This involves two-axles roller wagons, and a loader frame mounted on these, with interposed frame suspension units. At least one of the two wheel axles in each case is carried on a pendulum-swinging mounting in the roller wagons and likewise the loader frame in the frame suspension units is hung so as to allow a pendulum swinging motion about an axis running the direction of travel. The wheel axles may be assembled for pairs of U-shaped units with arms facing away from each other, accommodating vertical frame suspension cross arms between their bases. This allows max. mutual freedom of movement for the wheel axles, preventing one-sided load concentration.</p> |
