Silo 10 which delivers material through a vibrating hopper on to an extractor assembly 12 is provided with a central portion 14 having ogeval portion 15 removably mounted thereupon, the central portion being secured to the sides of the silo by cruciform members 20 and 30 which are also ogeval shaped in cross-section, and are sufficiently large for a man to enter for inspection purposes. The central portion 40 may be extended by turubular elements 40, 41, 42 which may be lined with a lining having different coefficient of friction and may be vibrated at 42. Each of the cruciform members may have mounted thereon a reinforcement 50 carried by rubber blocks 53, the reinforcement being vibrated.</p> |
