<p>The rubber bladed tool for wiping/cleaning windows has an insert (6) between the blade (5) wheel and a static jaw (2) and a demountable (3) retention jaw giving enhanced blade support. The blade (5) is or "keyhole" section and the insert (6) of a symmetric "U" section with a short straight leg and the longer developing an 'S' shape. This insert envelops the bulbous blade heel, attaching via the short leg to the demountable jaw (3), and enabling this latter to be wedged between the static jaw (2) and the tool handle. The insert has rigs inclined to its longitudinal edges. A section through the assembled jaws can present a female cavity corresponding to the insert section outline, and the demountable jaw terminates in an upper, inward short curved return (7).</p> |
