Universal clamping frame for rods reinforcing concrete slab - also lowers assembled rods from pivotted arms into anti:corrosion bath before fixing

The clamping frame consists of a welded steel frame (10) whose inner edges (15) provide guide rails for a set of cross beams which can be fixed to the rails at any position. The cross beams carry bearers for the reinforcing rods. The bearers can project from the cross beams to any desired depth, to suit the thickness of the slab being made. At each end of the welded steel frame (10) is pivoted an arm (14) on which the frame with assembled rods can be lowered to dip the rods into an anti-corrosion bath. The assembled rods are then kept in the frame for transport to the site where they are fixed.
