Reamed bolt for machined plates - has two rotating eccentrics and sleeves to adapt to position of through holes

The bolt is particularly intended for use where a precise fit is required but the holes are not coaxial. One application is on large machine tools where there is loading parallel to the mating face between the plates. The bolt (5) has two contra-rotating eccentrics (3,4) and/or at least one sleeve (14,15) with a rotating surface not parallel to the axis of the bolt. The bolt can be fixed to one of the eccentrics, or both eccentrics and sleeves can rotate. The sleeves adopt a position according to the relative location of the boreholes. The bolt has a hexagon head.
