The electrical detonator is provided with a piezoelectric voltage pulse transmitter which supplies a voltage pulse, corresponding to the braking moment, as a result of the sudden braking when the projectile strikes the target. The pulse transmitter is located in a detonator body (1) which is located in the nose of the projectile (3) and in whose tip a pulse transducer is arranged. The pulse transducer contains a nose part (7) having a cylindrical recess (11, 12) which expands in the shape of a funnel at the front and whose front edge is designed as a sharp gripping edge (10) and in whose cylindrical section a plug (14, 17) is inserted which covers the funnel-shaped expansion, overhangs the nose part and consists of a plastic material which can be deformed elastically. The sharp gripping edge causes the projectile to "stick" to the target object if it strikes at a flat impact angle, and the elastic plastic plug is intended to supply impact damping for those cases where the projectile strikes "soft" targets (foliage, rain etc.) and thus no detonation is intended to occur. <IMAGE>
