The standard prefabricated frame module for the construction of Warren Girder bridges are triangular and of welded 'I' sections. The modules are easily transportable and rapidly bolted together on site to form the completed structure. Each module member comprises a web plate and two flange plates which are welded together. The web plate is common to all members, and flange widths are varied according to live loads that the completed bridge is required to take. The module members form either diagonal or horizontal members in the erected bridge. |
