<p>1478430 Hydraulic accumulator instalations GROVE VALVE & REGULATOR CO 19 Dec 1975 [24 Feb 1975] 52231/75 Heading F1D [Also in Division F2] In a system, Fig. 1, in which pressure surges in an oil pipe line 10 are relieved by a valve 14, which discharges some of the oil to a reservoir, the valve is biased closed by an accumulator 42 and the bladder 44 of the accumulator is protected from the corrosive action of the oil by a vessel 56 which contains a non-corrosive liquid 46, of higher specific gravity, in its lower half. A variable restriction 50 is-provided between the vessel and the accumulator. Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which the non-corrosive liquid is contained in a bladder 70.</p> |
