The collapsible integrated table and chair unit has the chair seats (5) mounted on cantilever arms (3, 4) which project from the table legs (2, 9). A combination of articulating joint, telescopic and folding leaf mechanisms enable the unit to be retracted into a compact form for storage. A chair is provided to each table sector e.g. to each of six legs which are provided at equal intervals on the perimeter of a rectangular table top. Each chair may have a single central telescopic leg which extends to bear on the floor when the chair is deployed.
