<p>Flexible hose in intended for handling a pressurised medium and comprises a coil (3,4) in flexible material such as rubber, with a reinforcing mantle (9) of woven filaments, and a number of rings or ring assemblies (10) in a high tensile material such as steel, equally spaced along, and co-axial with the hose centre line, the mantle and rings being within the wall. The rings or ring assemblies are arranged inside the inner circumference of the mantle, and the mantle is surrounded by at least one layer of closed windings (13) which are at an angle of approximately 90 deg. to the hose centre line.</p> |
