In an example the corner 11 of the bonnet 5 is cut away at the meeting point 4 of the body panel joints 7 and 9, and an insulated sleeve 21 surrounding a telescopic aerial 2 is inserted at 4. The sleeve 21 is supported in another sleeve 14 pivotally mounted on an end wall 17 of a wheel wall. The aerial foot 13 extends through the sleeves and the end wall and is supported at its lower end by a clip 16. The aerial aperture 18 formed in the wall is sealed by a rubber ring 19 having a central elastic portion 20.
