<p>The folding roof can be used for covering not only swimming-pools, but also much larger outdoor areas, as required. The structure comprises carriers for a sheet of roofing material, and guide-rails, with power-driven guiding elements movable along them on rollers, so that the sheet is folded when the drive is operated. The carriers are in the form of guide-rails (5), for the guiding elements (7) on which the roofing material is suspended, and drive units for these elements are mounted on the rails. The rails may be double-T rails, or may incorporate two opposing T grooves, housing paired rollers able to turn at intervals on an axle to which the fastening element is attached.</p> |
