Transporter for large rolled wire rings - uses two parallel conveyors with intermediate station and connecting conveyor

The transporter is for large rolled wire rings, which are transported by C-shaped longitudinal hooks parallel to a conveyor path, e.g. rails, to reach an intermediate station, ready for the next stage. Two conveyor tracks (7a, b) are positioned parallel to each other, and have a central intermediate station. The tracks are connected via a transverse conveyor. The carriage frame (9) contains central track sections of similar length, parallel to the two tracks. The carriage may alternately be displaced at right angles to the tracks, so that one section forms an extension and/or a bridge in one track, while the other section is aligned with the intermediate station.
