<p>Cartridge magazine has single stack, is intended mainly for sporting guns, and consists of bottom part (1), longitudinal walls (2) and lateral walls (3). The longitudinal walls (2) are fitten with leaf springs (7), which extend only over part of the magazine length and are provided at the top end with turned-over edges (4) functioning as retaining lips for the uppermost cartridge. The cartridges are fed into the magazine by pressure downwards, while the lips (4) are pressed apart by the cartridge diameter. The front end of the cartridge bullet end has no retaining lips over its surface. When the uppermost cartridge is fed into the chamber, it performs a translatory movement, while the bullet end is slightly tilted upwards with its tapered part gliding on an inclined guide surface.</p> |
