<p>A combined heat pump and refrigeration system for air conditioning a building, where the heat from the heat pump is used to drive accessories and the compressor of the refrigeration, has the refrigeration circuit operating under constant conditions in the same directions while two opposed flows of liquid are alternately used for heat exchange with the evaporator and condenser for heating and cooling operations, one flow in contact with external air, the other in contact with air inside the building. For internal cooling. the internal flow is directed to outside, and vice versa for heating, the flows passing through tubes to the evaporator and condenser. The refrigerating circuit of the heat pump is located inside a space which is cooled to lower the temperature of the condenser.</p> |
