<p>The grating, for covering overflow and heating channels in swimming-pools, ventilation openings in floors, walls or ceilings, or other openings or cavities, comprises grid bars, in the form of shaped rails, engaging in retainer slots in carriers running across them. The object is to provide a form-locking connection between the two sets of bars, and permit ready assembly into units of different sizes. The retainer slots (13) are placed in connecting pieces (7) which can be set with a form-locking effect on undercut cross arms extending lengthways on the carrier bars (6), using retainer shoes on the rear. The shaped rail grid bars (5) are serrated on the sides of their retainer flanges (8), the retainer slots having corresp. serrations in the connecting pieces, for form-locking together with them.</p> |
