The blood sedimentation testing device has a filling device which is connected to the lower end of the measurement tube. Its filling channel is, at least during filling, kept in line with a lower hole in the tube. Blood is filled by a syringe through this channel. The measurement tube (1) is permanently connected with the filling device (2) held in a stand (3) with a filling hole (7) accessible from outside. It can be connected with the filling channel (8,9) for the tube filling, and sealed from the channel (8,9).
