<p>1424458 Austeno-ferritic wires CREUSOTLOIRE 16 July 1973 [28 July 1972] 33819/73 Heading C7A Steel wires, suitable for use as support wires in liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon wells, have an austeno-ferritic structure with a ferrite content of 15 to 40%. Suitable steels are:- the balance, apart from impurities, being Fe. The wires (e.g. formed by drawing) may be annealed at 1150‹C quenched and pickled with optional posttreatment with a coating of PTFE or surface carburization or nitriding (e.g. in ammonia).</p> |
