Machine includes a rotating mandrel on to which a strip winds helicoidally. A pressure roller and a tightening roller bear on the mandrel. They have a row of grooves on their outer faces, set at the periphery and bearing on the mandrel. The crests, between the grooves, penetrate the strip.
