Support for underground cables and conduits - may be stacked by interlocking thermoplastic walls with snap fitting tongues and grooves

A support is for cables and conduits. It is used where the installation is intended to be buried in a trench and support is required at regular intervals. The design is intended to provide an even load distribution and does not require special tools to close up the supports. The supports (9) are moulded from some thermoplastic material and present in cross section double 'U' shaped troughs, the sides being ribbed to provide strength. Both upper and lower surfaces are shaped to allow several such sections to be stacked by snap fitting tongues and grooves. a top section is similary shaped to close off the upper support.
