Built-in vapour extractor unit for extractor hood - has switch elements mounted in separate detachable housing

The built-in extractor unit (2) comprises a housing containing the fan, filter elements lights (6) switches etc. with the electric switch elements (3) themselves being mounted in a separate protective housing. The housing has an electric lead (4) so that it can easily be removed from the extractor unit and attached to any other suitable place on the hood, cupboard or the like. The electric lead is preferably between 50 and 100 am long and is preferably connected by a plug (5) to the elements in the built-in unit. The control knobs for the switch elements are preferably cylindrical in shape because circular apertures are easier to handle when fastening the switch elements to the hood.
