Moving surface type screen - has twin magazine power drives and solid transparent support surface for projection and writing

A moving type screen or blackboard has a flexible support or surface band which is power driven between two magazines incorporating motors. A solid display surface is used above and behind which the bands pass. The solid support or display surface (13) is of a transparent material, but the support band is of an opaque material. A projector is mounted in the space behind the display region (12) and between the magazines so that it can project pictures etc. onto the translucent support bands. The screen can be written on as well for e.g. teaching.
