<p>The inertia clutch coupling has a solid drum (6) fitted to the driven part. There is a solid core (1) of a clutch which can turn it and which is mounted inside the drum. The solid core has weights (3) which occupy a position of rest. The weights can swing on a pivot (4) on the core and parallel to its axis of rotation. The centre of gravity of the weights is near the line joining the core axis of rotation and that of the weight. The centre of gravity is moved in the direction of centrifugal force applied to it. The weight is self-returning to its position of rest, helped by a spring (5).</p> |
