Beet destacking and transfer machine - has hydraulically operated ground scraper plates positioned below main discharge conveyor

The machine has a central beam which is fixed at one end to a vertical post and is able to rotate around that post. The beam is supported at the outer end on rollers. The beam carries a bucket wheel which takes the beet from the stack and rops it onto the transfer conveyor which discharges onto the main conveyor. The wheel is able to travel sideways along a path parallel to the beam. Ground scraper plates are operated by the hydraulic jack and located along the length of the main conveyor so that the beet is contained below the conveyor.
