The connector, for PCBs consists of a small metal tube that locks into a hole in the board and receives a plug pin. The tube has two spring arms at one end curving radially inwards to engage the circular channel in the end of the plug pin. these spring arms are diametral. A second pair of diametral end arms is bent radially outwards to rest against the surface of the board and prevent the tube passing through the hole in one direction. Flaps project up from the surface of the tube to prevent it leaving the hole in the other direction. |
