<p>The flexible pipe is connected to a rigid part on a machine. The joint consists of a tubular part (A), with an opening (1) ending in a collet (2) and a cylindrical part (3). The cylindrical part can be flared out towards the collet. An annular stop (5) is provided, in which an outer sleeve (9) is located. The flexible pipe (15) fits over an extension of the first part (A) and is partly gripped by a number of grooves (8). The pipe is also fitted inside the sleeve (9) and the joint is sealed. At the fixing end (B) the final opening is threaded to mate with an externally threaded rigid part (17).</p> |
