The 45 deg. 'V' sectioned profile (1) can be of pressed or extruded construction and is used to form the support frames for tubes or containers. In forming an edge frame for a right angled box the profiles (1) are used in pairs to form right angles 'L' sections of which the legs provided support for box panels (3). To form the 'L' section two 'V' sections (1) are placed together with two of their external leg (10) surfaces abutting. The two abutting legs (10) are then fixed together by a narrow channel section(4). One (11) of the legs of each 'V' section may be rebated (2) to form a flush seating for the eges of box panels (3). Box corners may be formed by mirred joints.
