Ventilation system for animal house - has inlet openings with dampers controlled by inside and outside pressure differential

An animal rearing house for farm use has an animal chamber (18) with side walls (13) separated by a grid floor (22) from a service cellar (21). Fresh air inlet openings run the length of the side walls immediately under the eaves. A hinged damper (26) is pivoted at the lower edge of each inlet opening. It is turned by levers attached at intervals to a rod running parallel to the opening. The rod is rotated by a linkage from a motor which is driven by an electronic control mechanism. The input to the controls is obtained from one pressure detector inside the building and one outside it. Extractor fans (76, 77, 83) lower in the side walls, are also turned on and off by the mechanism.
