Engine sound proofing for construction vehicle - with padded air intakes in engine cover and silencer in front of radiator

The engine of the construction vehicle is protected by a sound proofed cover (2) with air inlet grilles at the top. The radiator (1) is covered by a silencer box (10) with air outlet grilles (11) at the front, and with sound baffles inside. The sound-proofing is compact and does not impede the working attachments of the vehicle. The sound proofing enables the vehicle to be driven along public roads with an acceptable sound level. Most of the sound comes from the large capacity blower on the cooling system. The silencer is simple to fit and maintain. The air inlet grilles are also covered with sound proofing material.
