1496960 Lubricated styrene polymer/fibre compositions BASF AG 8 May 1975 [20 May 1974] 19367/75 Heading C3P A moulding composition comprises (a) a thermoplastic polymer containing at least 50 wt. per cent of polymerized styrene units, (b) 10-60 wt. per cent based on the composition of a fibrous filler and (c) 0À05 to 1À8 wt. per cent on the same basis, of a styrene oligomer of number average mol. wt. 400 to 1,800, as a lubricant. Component (c) is preferably hydrogenated. Component (b) may be glass fibres, carbon fibres or mineral fibres. |
