A jointing piece is used on PCB's where the PCBs contain several electronic circuit components. The PCBs are designed to be inserted into slide-in units or chasis via connectors. Each jointing piece has a guide-slot along its longitudinal edges for taking up a PCB, and is of sufficient height to match the required so spacing between the discrete PCBs located one above the other in the slide-in units. Means are provided for fastening the PCBs on to the jointing piece.
