1,240,628. Reinforced concrete slabs. J.- O. BOHLIN and S. E. B. THELBERG. 26 Aug., 1969, No. 42469/69. Heading E1W. A reinforced concrete slab 2 has thickened portions in the region where it bears on supporting walls 7 and has on its upper surface T-section reinforced concrete beams 1 extending between the supporting walls 7 but being shorter than the distance between said walls and terminating short of each end of the slab. The beams 1 are precast separately from the slab of a relatively ; higher strength concrete and bonded into the slab by means of their extending reinforcements. Conduits 6 may be layed on the surface of the slab which may form a support for flooring. To improve the sound insulation properties of the slab, sand may be used to cover the top surface and a layer of smooth concrete placed over it.
|
