<p>Tyre comprises an interchangeable profiled band which is laid in a recess in the thread surface of the tyre. The recess has transverse trapezoidal grooves. Pref. on the lower surface of the profiled band are transverse trapezoidal projections which engaged in the correspondingly shaped groove of the tyre. The tyre is no longer useless after the tread has worn out: the profiled band is firmly connected, and can be detached when required, while avoiding the risk of the profiled band slipping from the tyre during use.</p> |
