<p>The foam compsn. contains 10-20 wt.% fine grained mineral filler., e.g. bentonite, perlite, pumice flour, vermiculite or fine sand. It also contains 4-6 wt. % prim. hardener (CaHPO4, MgO etc.) or a sec. hardener such as Na2SiF6, 1.5-3 wt. % KMnO4 (1% soln.) 1.0-3 wt.% H2O2, 0-3 wt. % H2O, and 70-80 wt. % stabilised water glass binder. The binder contains 0.03-2.0 wt.%, on alkali silicate soln. of triglycidyl isocyanurate (epoxy content 14 wt. %); 0.1-5 wt. % of H2O-soluble amines having >=2 active H atoms bonded to N; and 0.1-5 wt. % quat. and/or polyquat. N cpds. It also opt. contains sec. ore tert. phosphates of di- or tri-valent metals and/or difficulty soluble silicates.</p> |
