<p>The multi-purpose opener is for use in the kitchen with tins, bottles etc, having a baseplate formed by a steel stamping and acting as handle, forming a variety of tools in conjunction with components mounted on it. The edges forming parts of the tools, such as teeth shear blade etc are situated along the baseplate edge, and hardened if necessary. The various holding, lifting and cutting edges can have interchangeable tips allowing renewal. The lever-type or rotary knives can be actuated by rotary handles via rack-and-pinion mechanisms.</p> |
