<p>The rig for removing the crankshaft and its associated parts from a crankcase of a broken down i/c engine has a movable support. This is operated by a power drive perpendicular to the axis of the crankshaft to be removed, and opposite to a tool carrier. The support (28) has a gripping device (14,16) on opposite sides of the tool carrier (10) and parallel to the crankshaft axis. The grips are aligned via the support with the crankshaft axis, and are clamped between the crankshaft end (17,18) projecting out of the crankcases. On the crankshaft ends, a drawing force is applied by a movement of the support (28) and a press unit (23,24) for demolishing the crankcase (13) is arranged on the support (28) parallel to one (16) of the holding devices.</p> |
