Adjustable spring furniture hinge - has bush with sliding insert and slot for serrated hinge arm

The hinge assembly consists of a slide-adjustable mechanism (5) fitting into a recess of a bush (7) anchored in the furniture body. The adjustable part (5) has a circular cross-section with a shoulder (8) engaging the matching recess in the circular bush, which allows axial adjustment, but not rotary movement. The second part (10) of the hinge consists of a semi circular lug (11) with integral sleeves (13,14) and axial gap to take up the central arm (15) with one end rolled into a sleeve. The arm (15) has serrations (28) on the upper edge. The semi-circular lug of the hinge has a hole for fixing it to the door leaf (2) by screw (18). The adjustable slider (5) has on its circular surface a groove for a corresponding spring clip with one bent end engaging one of the serrations of the arm (15).
