<p>The wall panels (5) for the partitioning wall are suspended on rollers (2) attached to the ceiling, below a rail (1). Manually operated elements (8) seal the intermediate gap when the partition is led to its desired setting. They have sealing battens (12) of elastic material to fit against the ceiling or its cladding (10). The elements are spring-loaded (F). This ensures that melting, burning or softening of the sealing battens results in the open edges of the elements automatically extending so as to fit directly against the metal rail, thus preventing fire from passing through the gap.</p> |
