<p>Formamidine derivs. of formula (I) (where R1 is Me or Et; R2 is H, Cl, Br or 1-4C alkyl; R3 is H, Me, Et, Cl, Br, CF3 or CN; and m and n are 1, 2 or 3), e.g. N-methyl-N-(2, 5-dichlorophenylsulphenyl)-N'-(2-chloro-6-methylphenyl)-formamidi- ne, are new cpds. (I) are useful as insecticides and acaricides. They are also active against Thallophyte (esp. bacteria and phytopathogenic fungi) and against phytopathogenic nematodes. In addition, (I) have various effects on plant growth; thus, they can be used as plant-growth regulators for inhibiting the longitudinal growth of various plants and for inducing fruit abscission.</p> |
