1488894 Sliding clasp fasteners YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 2 Dec 1974 [4 Dec 1973] 52036/74 Heading E2S [Also in Division Dl] A stringer tape with a helical or zig-zag fastener element 11 surrounding a stuffer warp 17 is woven with two weft threads, the first weft loop 16 (Fig. 4) weaving with warp groups 12, 13 arranged under the fastener element, then being passed upwardly and then at 16 over the stuffer warp 17 and connecting leg 21 of the element to again enter the tape and to weave only with the warp group 13, thus binding the element to the tape; and the second weft loop 26 (Fig. 1) weaving with a third warp group 33 arranged over the fastener element, then being passed downwardly and then at 30 under the stuffer warp 17 and connecting leg 21 and out of the element to knit an internal selvedge 32 with its first inserted loop to bind the element to the upper tape. The first weft thread 16 is also knitted into a selvedge 24 and both wefts may be inserted simultaneously. |
