The frame is for supporting a vertical item and can be used equally well on smooth, sloping or uneven ground. All parts are of rustless aluminium, and it has a central mast holder (3) with a base pin (12) for insertion in the ground. Radiating from the holder are legs (7,8) each with a base pin (2) at the end, hinging on a bolt, and with a foot-plate (1) to assist in driving the pin into the ground. Leg (8) is extensible, for use on uneven or sloping ground. The mast holder fits in a tube (13) and is secured by a screw, and any desired mast can be inserted in the holder, being secured by a further screw. |
