The shaft 24 carries bevel gear 22 and is rotatably supported at one end by a roller bearing assembly 26 and at the other end by a roller bearing assembly 30 which is supported by a clamp 32 secured to the casing wall 17. The quill shaft 35 is rotatably mounted at one end in the casing wall 17 by tapered roller bearings 44, 45.
