<p>A driographic plate capable of being direct imaged by pen, pencil, typewriter, toner powder, etc. comprising a substrate having a coating thereon, the coating comprising a continuous medium having a solid fluorinated compound containing at least one fluorinated aliphatic radical uniformly dispersed therethrough in a manner such that the coating surface is ink repellent when dry. On direct imaging, the imaged areas will readily accept ink and prints can be made therefrom without necessity of a press dampening system.</p> |
