<p>Loudspeaker body comprises a loudspeaker connected sound-tightly to the neck of the cone. To form the cone, a housing extending forwardly from the loudspeaker as far as an opening in the wall opposite the loudspeaker is filled with a rigid filler material or rigid hollow bodies forming a cavity which provides the cone. The filler material pref. foam polysterol may delimit the housing chamber behind the loudspeaker and the housing itself is pref. made of corrugated cardboard. The loudspeaker may be pressed against the neck of the cone by a U-shaped frame fitted over its rear side with its ends attached to the filler material or a spacer between the housing rear wall and loudspeaker. The device can be mfd. at low cost, assembled easily and has improved adjustable sound vol.</p> |
